Magic & Innovation – Conference at Les Mardis de l’Innovation

On June 18th 2013, Marc Giget invited me (Albert Meige) to the “Mardis de l’Innovation” to give a non-serious conference on the theme “Magic & Innovation”. For the occasion, I also asked my friend Frank Debouck (head of the Ecole Centrale Lyon and… great magician) to come and speak about how magicians exploit certain human weaknesses, the same weaknesses that he was trying to avoid as a plane pilot… Inspiring.

In my talk, I explain how magic and innovation (and science) are closely related. I take the concrete and famous case of the woman cut in halves.

I also make a few silly tricks at the end.

Don’t watch, it lasts almost 40 minutes.

And here is the very interesting presentation by Frank Debouck:

Appreciating the time and energy you put into your site and in depth information you provide.
It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that
isn’t the same unwanted rehashed material. Wonderful read!

I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds
